The killing of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and too many other Black people due to systemic racism and abuse of power in our country is wrong. Black Lives Matter. We cannot turn a blind eye to injustice or be patient with change. We stand in solidarity with the peaceful protesters on the streets of America and around the world demanding justice and reform. But words are never enough.
Bridgeway Capital Management remains steadfast in our longstanding commitment to peace, justice, and compassion. We commit 50% of our profits toward the prevention of oppression, genocide, and human rights violations around the world. Through the Bridgeway Foundation, we have been honored to support organizations leading these efforts in the US, such as the Equal Justice Initiative and the Center for the Healing of Racism.
We can and must do better.
